New Maruti ALTO 800 going to be the next game changer for Maruti in low budget cars profile. ALTO’s existing engine is modified to make it 796CC with latest minimum emission norms. New ALTO 800c is built up on existing ALTO platform. This car is expected to have all new interiors and going to be more spaccious. Interiors are designed simply with all good to haves in the cabin. The intresting part is price range, Maruti is planning to place the car in a quadrant below ALTO near by NANO . Expexted price tag for New ALTO 800 is between 2 – 2.75 Lakhs.
Exterior desingn is very basic, front nose has high mounted head lights , slim grille and below the bumper we see one more air vent. Wheels are apt for the vehicle. A big u-shaped rear wind shield gives good view for the driver and tail gate is large enough to access the boot space. It will also have a basic but cost-effective MacPherson strut setup in front and a coil spring torsion beam axle at the rear.
