| Porsche Boxster V3.0 Soon In India |
Porsche India is busy in planning to launch Boxster V3.0 in second half
of 2012. As India’s market is growing in Luxury and sports car
segments, Porsche stylists are making the new Boxster ready to hit the
roads with all the unique features in its class to amuse sports car
enthusiasts. Already new Boxster made its appearence in international
markets in March 2012.
Porsche Boxster is always known for its sleek stylish looks, this
time Porsche stylists have gone some extra miles to give the car so many
modifications which it never had in sixteen years. Big new scoops in
flanks, rear spolier that is well integrated. The standard boxster
reverts to a 2.7 litre flat-six engine and power is increased by 10bhp
over the current 2.9 at 261 bhp. This new Porsche Boxster comes with
seven-speed PDX gearbox, which is optional. Six speed gear box is
standard which is slightly less efficient. This time Boxster ahs
undergone slight slimming process, it shed 25 kgs almost. The open roof
for this model must have definitely helped the engineers to reduce the
weight but at the same time cabin is bit fat compared to earlier
editions. Roof fully electric with remote control operation.so the
weight loss component must be some where else. Cabin is fully influenced
by Carrera GT, as per Porsche. More in common with Cayenne.
So at the Boxster’s grand age of 16 there are no limits in designing
and would be no limits for the drivers to unleash its popwer and Style.
