Indian Archers (Men) Failed in the Ranking Round of 2012 London Olympics with their dismal performances. If they want to get a medal in this event they need to raise their game drastically in the next rounds.

Benarji got 12th (Last) position in the ranking round . Korea topped in the event with the new World record score of 2087. Indian team scored 1969 in this team event.
In the individual Ranking event Korean Archer IM Dong Hyun topped with the new World record score of 699. Indian Standings in this event are Jayanta Talukdar(53 rd place with the score of 650), Tarundeep Rai (31 st place with the score of 664) and Rahul
Benarjee (46 th place with the score of 655).
